Meet Allen:
Allen Ream is President, CEO, and Co-Founder of Montana Heritage Home Builders. Allen holds multiple premier industry designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), including Certified Graduate Builder, Certified Green Professional, Graduate Master Builder, and Master Certified Green Professional. Allen is WWYW Certified from Wellness Within Your Walls (WWYW). Allen has been in the building industry since 1990. Allen is Past President of the Flathead Building Association and Past President of the Montana Building Industry Association.
Allen Ream is the 2020 Flathead Building Association Builder of the Year.
Allen Ream is the 2021 Montana Building Industry Association Builder of the Year.
Allen believes in a hands-on approach with his Design/Build projects. He personally oversees every aspect of the job from start to completion. Allen believes that building your home shouldn’t be about compromise. With a constant eye to detail, he works diligently to not only fulfill but exceed your expectations. Great care is taken to ensure impeccable results.
Allen is passionate about building and says, “Our homes are innovatively built with care and unparalleled craftsmanship that deliver a lasting value. We remodel existing homes to increase livability, comfort and lasting value.”
Allen is active in industry associations. Allen is an active member of the Flathead Building Association, the Montana Building Industry Association, and the National Association of Home Builders. Allen has served multiple times on the Board of Directors for the Flathead Building Association (FBA). Allen serves on the Board of Directors of the Montana Building Industry Association (MBIA). Allen serves on the Executive Board for the Montana Building Industry Association. He serves on the National Association of Home Builders Custom Home Builders Committee, and he serves on the National Association of Home Builders Leadership Council. Allen will be the next National Association of Home Builders State Representative for the State of Montana. Allen served as the President of the Flathead Building Association. Allen served as the President of the Montana Building Industry Association.
Allen is a Montana native and enjoys spending time outdoors, and with his family, horses, and dogs. He has been featured in publications such as Timber Home Illustrated. He resides near Columbia Falls, Montana.
Allen cares about the environment, education, and numerous other causes. He volunteers with the elderly and Veterans.
Allen graduated from Columbia Falls High School. Allen, a Veteran, served in the United States Coast Guard, earning Coast Guard Expert Rifleman Medal, Coast Guard Sharp Shooter Pistol Ribbon, First Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal, and Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon.
Meet Nicolas:
Some might say that Nicolas (Nic) Ream was born with a hammer in his hand and technology in his head. Nicolas Ream has been involved with building his entire life. Nicolas is the Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Project Manager, and Project Production Manager of Montana Heritage Home Builders. Nicolas has expertise in communications, including social media, advertising, and marketing. Nicolas has served as Superintendent. Nicolas makes sure the projects are getting done correctly and to our high standards.
Nicolas is passionate about letting the clients become part of the design/build process. He says, “You should have a say in what happens, not just someone telling you this is how it is going to be and that’s that.”
Nicolas is a Montana Native who loves spending time outdoors, golfing, boating, reading, and with his horses and dogs. Nic has successfully completed the Montana Superhost statewide tourism and hospitality program, “406 Hospitality”. He has been praised in numerous Who’s Who Publications. He is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently learning new languages.
Nicolas cares about the environment, education, science and technology, arts and cultures, and numerous other causes. He volunteers with the elderly and Veterans. Nicolas also tutors high school students and mentors college students, including working with the National Association of Home Builders Student Chapter at the University of Denver. Nicolas also serves on the Board of Directors of the UM Greek Alumni, Ltd. (UM Greek Task Force).
Nicolas has recently served on the Reach Higher Montana Advisory Council.
Nicolas is active in industry associations. Nicolas has served on the Board of Directors of the Flathead Building Association. Nicolas is Past Chair of the Flathead Building Association Government Affairs Committee. Nicolas serves on the Board of Directors of the Montana Building Industry Association, and Nicolas serves on the National Association of Home Builders Leadership Council. Nicolas is serving as the Second Vice Chair of the National Association of Home Builders Education Committee. Nicolas is also serving as the Vice Chair of the National Association of Home Builders National Sales and Marketing Council Board of Trustees. Nicolas serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.
While attending the University of Denver, Nicolas competed in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Decathlon. Nicolas has successfully gone through Housing 2.0, a pioneering training and education program that Green Builder Media and Sam Rashkin teach.
Nicolas has earned premier industry designations from the National Association of Home Builders, including Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist, Certified Graduate Associate, Certified Graduate Builder, Certified Green Professional, Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified New Home Sales Professional, Graduate Master Builder, and Master Certified Green Professional. Nicolas holds the NGBS (National Green Building Standard) Green Pro designation from the Home Innovation Research Labs. Nicolas holds a Waste Auditor Certification from the Green Building Education Services. Nicolas holds the LEED Green Associate credential from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). Nicolas also holds badges from USGBC and GBCI, including Green Builder, Green Classroom Professional, Resilience, and Health and Wellness. Nicolas is working on earning a Specialization in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Building from The New School – Parsons School of Design and Coursera.
